Letter from Minister

Thank you for taking the time to read and look over our website. We really appreciate your interest in spiritual matters.

There are so many different denominations in our community today teaching so many different doctrines. Who is right? What can an honest heart do to find the truth? I believe that one of the greatest problems in the religious world today is the fact that people do not ask enough questions. Many are satisfied with the way things are and never really investigate God's Word to make sure the things they have been taught and believe are consisent with the Word of God.

I want to encourage you to follow the Bible and ONLY the Bible and leave all the traditions, creeds and theologies of man alone. We here at the Lake City Church of Christ advocate non-denominational Christianity. Simply put - we seek to be just Christians. We call Bible things by Bible names; we speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent. If you are looking for a church home, we would love for you to consider us. We would be glad to talk to you about this and answer any question you may have.

We should all be interested with what the Bible teaches about salvation, heaven hell and any other subject. If any of these subjects interest you, we have Bible materials on them to assist your study. The religious world is divided on many subjects, but the Bible is right. I hope it is your desire to have a "Thus saith the Lord..." May God bless you as you study His Word.
